Scams.

New post on the iPandanda blog.
The emails are interesting... It would be possible to find out who it is by just looking at the email. I wanted to attempt to trace their IP address but sadly I didn't get one of those emails.
I don't think it's hacking the iPandanda database though, if that had happened a LOT of people would have got the emails. It seems like it has been aimed at a few people who would actually be upset by this. If you are one of those people, try to remember if you have given the email address to anyone on PD!

I'm thinking as I'm typing this. Who talks like this? Who says newbie instead of noob? Who has terrible grammar?

If I work it out, I will tell you guys.

Misty :-)

Users from iPandanda have been receiving spam, scam emails; telling people they're a moderator, or such, on iPandanda, this is not true (sorry!). These emails are potentially dangerous, and we suggest YOU DO NOT CLICK ANY LINK IN THE EMAIL. We, iPandanda, do not email you, and have never emailed you since day one. Report any email from someone pretending to be an iPandanda official here: http://ipandanda.net/app/report/email.html.

>post title goes here<

Why the title? Well I just had to. Hopefully some of you will get the reference >.<

Anyway.
Sherman and Ultra (themanhunt) are now moderators! Congratulations :-)
They now have tops with MIT on them...
I didn't take any pics of Sherman or Ultra wearing it sorry, But yeah, you get the idea. Anyway, they can now kick, ban, mute, send mod messages, and possibly go in steath mode. (Saying that I don't know if they can or not, old PD mods could) They also have an extended chat log.

For those of you who say this is unfair, Sherman and Ultra both wanted to stop drama and people who swear, so the mods gave them powers to do so. They deserve it, and if you are going to go whining about it you won't deserve it.

In other news, you can now buy dragons for 25 Euros! (That's $32 US dollars, or $40 New Zealand dollars) They decided they wouldn't be free because it actually costs $100 US dollars a month to run the server. ($1,200 a year!) I wish I could buy one myself (I really want a gold dragon, or a black one, or an aqua one) but $40 NZ dollars is just too much for me.

Another new post.

Well this is interesting.

Foxotic: Spreading rumours!?

Hello guys! Mean guys from Foxotic have been pandering around iPandanda today, and have been spreading rumours and have been cussing to scare you, such as "iPandanda is closing down", "iPandanda is *swear word*". All of what they say is untrue. We are not closing; as far as we know, we have no reason to close.
We would like to point out, that we are now monitoring all connections to iPandanda from Foxotic team members, and they are being closely logged - please report any Foxotic members, or anyone being mean on iPandanda to the staff in the chatbox, below the play page! :)
Sidenote to Foxotic: We were planning on donating to Foxotic, and we wanted to calm things down, however, you kept banning us from your forums. Thanks!
In other news, more updates are on their way!
See you around! :D

Plus, I'm annoyed right now. They gave Sherman a dragon :/ Total favoritism.
Oh well :( I just wish people wouldn't rage at me just cause I said it was unfair. Don't lower yourself to my level. ^.^

Hey pandas,
In the last few days you may have seen other players wearing the sensei hat, this hat shows that the user is a dedicated iPandanda blogger; they have their own iPandanda releated website. If you would like to apply for the sensei hat click here. Below is a demo of how you could fill in the form.
Demo Form
Please be patient, every blog has to be checked by our security team.
-GamerX19

It's funny, they highlight all their text so when I copy-paste it it looks awesome xD

But anyway, if you have a blog and you are the admin/creator of the blog you can apply for the hat! Remember only 1 person per blog can get the hat, so if you have more than one admin you should check with them first!

*Brings bamboo back to life*

iPandanda is giving a Sensei hat to iPandanda bloggers!

I NOW OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE BAMBOO IS AN IPANDANDA BLOG!

Heh.

And also, it's not THAT illegal and they are teenagers so they can't be sued. And anyway, I would make an iPandanda if I could be bothered :')

So this time I will attempt to post gossip as well as updates, therefore re-ruining people's reputations including my own. Jk Jk.

NOOOOO I MESSED THE HIGHLIGHT THING UP. IGNORE IT ^_^

To kick it off!

~ The gifts page has been undated! You can now buy a Zing Hat for the actually quite cheap price of €2 ($2.60, £1.70). Yes, I know it seems like a lot, but if you think about it, it's pretty cheap. If you have money and a paypal, just buy the hat! It keeps iPandanda open, PLUS you get a seriously epic hat.

~ There are some rumors that they are going to update the catalog and add dragons (small and big) by the end of the month! Let's hope so! I hope they add black halter tops and ruffle skirts ;-)

~ Let's get started with gossip.
Somebody called Mystic is starting rumors about me. Please ignore them ;')
apart from that, not much gossip, apart from drama with fano/eve o.o
oh well :3 anyway, I will go through the pages and change them round soon. Blu doesn't play iPandanda and Jar doesn't come on that much, But I will keep their pages anyway :)

Misty :-)

BTW, I am Mistral on iPandanda, with spares Mist and Misty. Mistral is my main though :3

Orbs - Chapter 7

There's a bit of action in this chapter. And a really, really cool cliffhanger. Muahahaha!

Chapter 7

"So," said Amethyst, walking down the rope bridge to my treehouse. "What do you think of the spy sphere?"

We were on our way back from the Big Scoop after our meeting with Breeze, and this was the first time we had been able to speak about the sorcery lesson earlier in the day.

"I think the thing we saw in my treehouse last week was one of them. After all, what else could it be?" I said.

Am shrugged. "I don't know. A UFO?"

"Yeah, that would be cool. Much cooler than the idea of wizards spying on us."

"Unless the aliens were sent by the wizards," Am pointed out. "Y'know, to save energy."

When we reached the door, I noticed a note stuck to the front. Amethyst grabbed it and read it out loud.

"'There's a meeting in Pawthorne Forest at midnight. See you there. -The Sorcerers'," Am glanced up to me. "Why didn't they tell us about this earlier?"

"Maybe something happened," I said.

"I don't know. It just seems strange."

"Let's go, though. It would be embarrassing to turn up to the next meet and have them asking why we weren't there," I said.

"I guess so. Anyway, I ordered the pizzas, and I'm thinking they'll arrive soon."

I opened the door. "Okeydokey. But did you remember to tell them that I don't want carrots on my pizza?"

"Yes, Em," said Am, rolling her eyes and coming into my treehouse. In her hand was the note from the door, which she put on a nearby table. Some little voice was nagging on in the back of my head that something bad might happen. I guess we would just have to see when it came around to midnight.

After munching down my carrot-free pizza, I played video games with Am, checking the clock every few minutes to see how long it was until midnight.

"You really have to stop doing that," said Am, dropping her controller after she won yet another game.

"Doing what?" I asked.

"Checking the clock. It's annoying, and you're continuosly losing to me. Winning gets boring after a while."

I sighed. "Sorry, Am. I'm just nervous. There's only twenty minutes to go until midnight."

"Twenty?" Am's eyes widened. "We should set off, then. It will take a while to walk there."

Amethyst and I trudged on down below the leafy canopy. The refreshing scent of trees and wet grass hung around in the air and my feet were already aching.

"What's the time?" Am asked me.

I looked down at my watch, then back up to the thick forest around me. "Two minutes to midnight."

Am picked a berry off a nearby bush. "It would've been better if Kite or whoever it was had written down exactly where to meet up."

"That's what I'm thinking too," I said, before coming to a stop. "Wait, is that berry poisonous or something?"

Amethyst looked down at it. "Probably."

She flicked it off into the trees and we continued on down the muddy path. Branches clung to my jumper, and sometimes I couldn't help but mistake them for arms.

"Pawthorne forest is a nice place by day, but seriously creepy by night," said Am, pushing a plant out of her way.

I was about to agree with her, when I spotted a light up ahead. "Am! That must be them!"

We sped up and burst into a well-lit clearing. Darkly-clad pandas stood around in a circle, and I could tell at first glance that these were no sorcerers.

"Welcome," said the one in the middle of the clearing. "Now, we'd like very much to talk to you right now, but sadly there's no time. The talking will have to wait."

"Are you wizards?" Amethyst asked bravely as one of the pandas came towards us. Personally, I was too scared to even move.

The 'leader' of this group smiled, revealing menacingly sharp teeth. "Yes, we're wizards. And I'm the famous Ormzusk! But I don't do autographs, sorry."

And that was the last thing I heard before the panda whispered a quick spell and I fell to the ground unconscious. This was, I guess you could say, a bad day.

Orbs - Chapter 6

Sorry about the long wait - I've been busy doing some other writing thing called NaNoWriMo. It's where you have to write a whole story in one month (November). But I had already written half of this chapter and so decided to complete and publish it. In December and the months following the chapters will be published more often. I promise!

Orbs - Chapter 6

"So," said Moat, focusing on her blue orb. "The next thing to do is to imagine a burst of light coming out from your orb and morph it into a ball. Imagine this light turning into water, then throw it at any nearby grumpy pandas."

I watched as the waterball splashed into Tree. He spun around with an enraged look in his eyes, enough to make me wonder whether or not he would throw one back.

"Bad aim," said Octave nonchalantly, glancing up from her book of potion recipes. "You went a bit off to the side."

Gloom, who was sitting on the parlor sofa, rolled her eyes. "Water is harmless. Why not teach them how to create fireballs? Or spy on enemies?"

"Creating spy spheres is way too hard. We would need multiple people for that," said Octave.

I tensed up, remembering the strange sphere of light that had hovered beside the window in my treehouse a few days before.

"What are spy spheres?" I asked them.

"Oh, they're like balls of light, really. They hover around and collect information from your enemies," said Moat. "We haven't done one since Cerulean and Centaur were kidnapped. Keeping a spy sphere up and working takes many sorcerers, and we just don't have the numbers. Now we do, because you two have joined."

She smiled, but I didn't reply. My mind was too busy swirling about with this information. The wizards were spying on us. They even saw us! Before then, I had thought of the wizards as some sort of faraway enemy, only coming over for the occasional battle. But this brought it all to home. We could be being watched at that moment and not know it.

"You look pale," said Octave, suddenly suspicious. "Have you seen one of these before?"

I shook my head, the lie falling easily off my tongue. "No. They just seem interesting."

"Yeah, maybe we could make one of those to go and see where Centaur and Cerulean are being kept!" said Amethyst, stepping up to help me.

"Good idea," said Gloom, peering at a nearby cobweb in deep thought. "We should try that sometime."

I was shocked at her emotion, and stared after her as she walked away. This wasn't the dark, mysterious Gloom I thought I knew. This one seemed more fragile.

"Cerulean was her best friend. They were like sisters," Moat said, leaning over to whisper in my ear. "Gloom wasn't so sad before Cerulean was kidnapped. I think it's given her hope to see more sorcerers joining."

I nodded, but before I could speak, Amethyst said, "What's next?"

Three hours later and I was beyond exhausted. All of this magic and all of this learning drained my energy and left me feeling unable to even think straight. I was glad when Moat told us to go and relax and have an ice-cream at the Big Scoop, and Amethyst and I headed over there as quickly as we could.

"Phew," said Amethyst as she finished giving McWiggles her order. "That was tough."

"Tell me about it," I sighed, leaning up against the counter.

McWiggles gave us our ice-creams and we thanked him. Amethyst made her way over to a table and I followed.

As I sat down, Amethyst started speaking.

"Gosh, Emerald, we'll have to do that every Tuesday!"

I grinned, but it wasn't a happy grin. It was more of a frown. "We will cope."

"Yeah, I guess," she said, pausing for a moment. "And what about those spy spheres! The wizards must've been watching us."

"It creeps me out," I said.

"That's an understatement."

We didn't speak whilst we ate our ice-creams, and just cooled off. It had been a hard day, full of anxiety, excitement and exhaustion, and it was great to be able to wind down.

"Hey, how are you today?"

I looked up and saw a panda walk into the room. He seemed graceful and at ease, oozing calmness.

"Do I know you?" I asked him.

"I'm Kite's brother, Breeze. She told me about you two," he said, smiling warmly. Breeze reminded me of his sister.

"So are you... a sorcerer too?" said Amethyst, whispering the last part.

He shook his head, sitting down at our table. "Nah. That stuff is way too stressful for me. I'd be bound to get gray hairs!" he laughed. "But I admire what you guys do. It's really great that you work so hard trying to protect Pandanda."

Breeze seemed sincere, so I knew he wasn't a threat.

"So does Kite know you're here?" I said. "She's down at HQ, and could probably come and see you and have ice-creams with us."

"No, she doesn't know I'm here," Breeze said. "But Kite must be busy being leader, so I'll talk to her some other time."

Amethyst glanced at her watch. "Hey, sorry Breeze, but Emerald and I really need to go. But I have one question. How did you recognise us?"

My heart started beating faster as I realised what she was getting at. Somehow Breeze had recognised us, even though he had never seen us before. What if he were a wizard and had seen that spy sphere...

Breeze laughed, and pointed to the orbs on the table. We had left them carelessly in view! Any normal panda could've seen them.

"Kite told me about you, too. From her description, I realised who you must be," he said.

I smiled and stood up. "See you, then."

"Bye, Breeze," said Amethyst.

"Bye you two! Tell Kite I said hi!"

We waved goodbye and left the Big Scoop. Amethyst and I walked to my house, where we had decided to eat pizzas and have a sleepover.

It was going to be a much needed break. Next week, I could only hope that things would be easier.

Continued Soon (maybe the next chapter will be later this month or if not, then December.)
