HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's 2012! I don't know about any of you, but 2011 seemed to go really fast! Here is the new Henry's blog post:

Goodbye 2011......

As the last hours of 2011 tick by, I've been thinking back over the fun I've had with all of you this year. There were some Festivals and special events that have become Pandanda traditions, but we also added a bunch of new celebrations during the year. Remember these?

• March of the Snowmen
• Tropical Break
• Friendship Festival
• Game Days
• Free Elite Member WEEKEND

Questers reached new milestones during the year. In March, the first players reached Level 50 and summoned their own Dragon Companions. Maggie the Stable Master arrived in April, with new Horse Companions available to Questers. And in September, the first Super Questers reached the maximum Quest Level of 75. Questy added some awesome Quest rewards to his catalog for Super Questers!

There were lots of other nifty new things in 2011:

• Panda Gold in January
• New Login and Server Page theme in February
• New ways to pay for Elite memberships in March
• New Clothes Shopping Experience in April
• New Treehouse Shopping Experience in May
• Bank Vault in May
• The NEW Henry's Blog in June

• Coloring Pages added to the Blog in September

Well, it is around 7:30pm in Pandanda Land on New Years Eve as I publish this final blog post of 2011. I am going to pop into Pandanda for a brief visit now, and I plan to visit again tomorrow, January 1st 2012 at 10am Pandanda Time.

I am writing this on Christmas night.... I hope everyone got the presents they wanted :-)

What the pics don't show is that it's animated! Wow! The snow falls in the background... It's very nice, But I might stick to my Beach Background.

I was looking forward to a clothes item... But oh well. At least we have a free gift!

Christmas Items + Coin Tips

Hi everyone, as you know there are new items at the clothing co; such as the key, the shopping bags, and more. At your house you can get a few new rugs like the Gingerbread man and the White Christmas tree. (Blu and Mist made a slideshow of it below) But as Betas we have learned that you should always buy whatever you have coins for, because it might not be back next year. Yeah, it isn't really easy to get coins, but here are some easy ways to get coins: 1) Stay at Pawthorne Forest and the longer you stay the faster the items will come. 2) Play the game Dragons Revenge it is very easy and you get coins quick. 3) Quests. Quests may take long but you get 50 coins. 4) Fish. Fishing is fun, and you can do it at Coco or Fishing Hole. At Coco is a little better because the fish are worth more coins. 5) Buy some Turbo Potions, then go to Darby Field and when the Bunny Chase starts use the potion. You usually get about 52 bunnies.

I saw this post and I wanted to add some of my coin earning tips too.
1. Dragons revenge is a fun game, and it gets a lot of coins. Try to aim at getting 50 coins as quickly as possible, then quitting and starting again. My record for getting 50 coins is 30 seconds...
2. Ghost chase. Hard at first but probably the best coin-getting multiplayer game.
3. Quests. Yes, its boring. And yes, it makes you want to quit pandanda. But at 50 coins a quest it is a good way of getting coins.
4. Locations. The best location for getting coins will change from panda to panda and also computers. e.g. My old laptop was amazing at bunny chase, This laptop is great at Ghost chase, treasure chests at Darby field, and sapphires at the Forest. Blu's computer/panda gets a lot of fish etc.
5. Low graphics. Makes everything go faster, including the fact makes items pop up quicker.
That's all my coin earning tips.... I wonder if Blu has any?

Fish fish fish fish fish. Fishing gets me the most coins. Plus, every other coin-making game frustrates me. Fishing is fun and is the best way to get coins. -Blu!

Hi pandas! Im atvbeast, my great freinds BlueIsGood and Mistral let me join their blog! I am on PD a lot, usually I come on everday to do quests then to hang out with some of my freinds. Oh yeah, a few of you might know me as dustin118. So if you see me (atvbeast) call me dustin please. So if you ever have any questions just tell me or right me and email at atvbeast118@aol.com. Game Day Today!

Hooray, it's Pandanda Game Day again! You can win double Coins for every multiplayer game you play today - Pen the Pig, Line4, Bunny Chase, and Ghosts of Misty Hill.

You also have a chance to win lots of Panda Gold from Moderators and me in special games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill! The Mods and I will be hosting as many games as we can squeeze in between the hours of 6am-1pm Pandanda Time,  2-3pm Pandanda Time,  4-7pm Pandanda Time, and during my final visit from 8-9pm Pandanda Time. 

Remember, there are a couple of special rules for Game Day Panda Gold games. On Game Day you can only win Gold once from each Moderator. They will each keep a list of the pandas they have awarded Gold to.

The other rule is "no potions", but that's always a rule when you play for Panda Gold!

I will be visiting Pandanda at 6am Pandanda Time,  8am Pandanda Time,  12pm Pandanda Time then once more at 8pm Pandanda Time. You can click on each link to see what time it will be where you live.

Festive Photo with Your Friends Contest!

One of the best things about the Holiday season is getting together with your friends. That is why I am pleased to announce the “Festive Photo with Your Friends” contest! The goal of the contest is to take the best seasonal picture of your panda with your friends (It's ok to include other pandas who are also playing who may not be on your friends list.)

The most festive, creative and original picture of you and your friends celebrating the holiday season will win the awesome prize of a gift certificate for a 6 month Elite Membership, 200 Panda Gold, and 5000 Panda Power. Plus, you’ll get another 6 month Elite Membership to give to a friend! 

There is a limit of one entry per email address (the one you used when you created your panda) per day. Entries must be received at contest@pandanda.com no later than 11:59pm PST on Sunday, December 18th. The winner will be announced on Saturday, December 24th in my blog.

Prizes

1 Grand Prize winner will receive:

• A 6 Month Elite Membership gift certificate for you
• A  second 6 Month Elite Membership gift certificate for your friend.
• 200 Panda Gold for you.
• 5000 Panda Power for you.

Here are a few tips:

• Be original and creative. It's ok to try and organize other players in the game to get the coolest, greatest shot ever! If players don't cooperate, though, it is not ok to bully them or be mean. We have so many players around the world, and some may not understand what you're saying. Also remember that safe chat players can't see what you may be chatting.
• Your picture can be taken anywhere in the game. It is ok to drop into a friend's tree house to take your picture. There are some pretty fancy tree houses out there!
• It's ok to crop your picture to whatever size you think looks nice, or you may submit an entire screenshot.
• Cropping the picture is ok, but digitally editing or enhancing your screenshot is not. Digitally edited submissions will be disqualified.

To submit your entry (have your parent or guardian help you):

1. Read and obey the rules. Entering the competition means that you and your parent/guardian agree to the rules. If you are under 13 years old, please ask your parent or guardian to review them with you, along with our website Terms of Use , specifically with regard to the use of submissions you send to us.
2. Ask your parent or guardian to email your entry to contest@pandanda.com from their email address, the one they used when they signed you up for Pandanda. Your entry MUST come from the email address that we have on file for your Pandanda account.

Red and Green Day Tomorrow!

Wow, it is the second week of December already! Christmas will be here before we know it! It's time to celebrate the season with our 2nd annual RED & GREEN Day.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the7th, is the day to dunk yourself in red or green Panda Paint and put on your favorite red and green clothes. You could even wear a Santa or Elf suit! Remember, all pandas can buy Panda Paint from Fitch at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. He also has a Santa hat that is available to everyone.

I will be making some surprise visits on Wednesday's RED & GREEN Day, and I'd love to see everyone participating and having holiday fun! If you see players who don't have any red or green, you could kindly offer to show them where they can buy Panda Paint and a Santa Hat. You can even talk to Safe Chat pandas if you use the Safe Chat Menu!

December 1st is a triple-great day in Pandanda! Snow, new clothes, and HUGE DAY!

To be a part of HUGE DAY, just visit Paige in Bear Hollow for her Dragon Tears potion - it will make you HUGE! Have a HUGE dance at The Purple Door, go HUGE fishing at the Fishing Hole, play HUGE Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill (maybe you will scare the ghosts!) Whatever you do, make it HUGE!

I am planning to get in on the fun of HUGE day myself! I will be visiting at 7:30am Pandanda Time, then again at 5pm Pandanda Time. Pandanda Fun In December

Great news! The Pandanda Weather Forecaster is predicting SNOW sometime this week. I hope it will be on Thursday. Wouldn't that be an awesome way to start December?

It's a good thing Fitch at the Clothing Co. is getting in a shipment of winter clothes on Thursday. You'll be able to bundle up in some warm new clothes for the snow! Hooray!

And that's not all to look forward to on December 1st! Thursday will be Pandanda's first ever HUGE DAY! Visit Paige in Bear Hollow and stock up on Dragon Tears Potions. Drink the potion and become HUGE! I want to see Pandanda full of humongous pandas on the first day of December!

I've already made one visit to Pandanda early this morning, and I am getting ready to make the second of my 4 visits. The Mods and I are playing lots of games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill  for Panda Gold today, so get in on the fun! Remember, when playing for Panda Gold, no potions are allowed. And since today is a special day, instead of only being able to win one time the whole day, you can win once from each Moderator (and from me)! Play fair, have fun, be happy!

Prepare To Haunt Pandanda!

Happy Monday, everyone! The Pumpkin Festival has really gotten off to an awesome start! I hope you were able to spend some time in Pandanda over the weekend, collecting Halloween candy to trade for cool things from the Cauldron of Prizes.

Don't forget to check out the new items in Fitch's catalog at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. You'll find some brand new things, as well as some old favorites in new colors. I've been really impressed at some of the outfits you fashionable pandas come up with. You really know how to mix and match, and accessorize!

Make sure to stock up your backpack with Paige's Haunted Potions today, because tomorrow is Ghost Potion Day! I challenge you to keep yourself a ghost the whole time you are in Pandanda tomorrow! The Haunted Potion is just 15 coins.

You can earn coins by selling the fish you catch to Fishy Joe, by selling fruits and veggies to Tammy or Farmer Dan, selling gems and coal to Jim. You can also earn coins by playing the mini games, Bunny Chase, and Ghosts of Misty Hill. I've heard that if you are good at Dragon's Revenge and Dragon's Treasure, you can really earn a bunch of coins in a short time!

BOO!!!!  Did I scare you? No?? Maybe that's because you are already a ghostly panda for Ghost Potion Day today!

What's that? You say you are not a ghostly panda? Well, what are you waiting for?! Visit Paige in Bear Hollow and buy a few bottles of her Haunted Potion, and drink it up! Instant panda ghost!

I am going to make some surprise visits to Pandanda today, and I'd love to see all my panda pals looking like spooky ghosts! You can help! When you are playing in Pandanda today, remind everyone that it is Ghost Potion Day. If someone doesn't know how to become a ghost, invite them to follow you to Bear Hollow, and introduce them to Paige. Then they can buy some Haunted Potions, too!

And pictures! I'd love to see pictures of the different rooms of Pandanda filled with ghosts! How many ghosts can you get in a room? Can you get everyone in the room to be a ghost at the same time? Pumpkin Festival Post on Henry's Blog

It's almost time! Almost time for the residents of Pandanda to decorate with pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns, and to play spooky music. Almost time for the ghosts to leave Misty Hill and float all around the island. And almost time to hunt for Halloween candy scattered all over Pandanda Land and to collect it in your pumpkin basket, then trade it at the Cauldron of Prizes for really cool stuff!

Yes, the Pumpkin Festival begins tomorrow, and I am so excited! This is one of my favorite festivals! In addition to the awesome decorations, music and prizes, there will be some extra Quests. You'll also be able to shop for Halloween costumes from the Clothing Co on East Market Street.

I think you will really like what the Cauldron of Prizes has to trade for the candy you collect! Nope, I'm not giving you any hints! Everything will be revealed tomorrow! You'll have almost 3 whole weeks to collect enough candy to get all of the prizes. The Pumpkin Festival will end on November 3rd.

There are some other fun events coming up soon. Tuesday the 18th is Ghost Potion Day, and Thursday the 27th is Costume Day. Both of those events have been added to the Pandanda Calendar, so check them out!

Orange as a Pumpkin In Pandanda!

Ooooh, I am really starting to get excited about October! This is one of my most favorite times of the year! I love the cooler weather, and the leaves on the trees turning to beautiful colors of red, yellow and ORANGE. It seems everywhere I look, ORANGE pumpkins are starting to appear, some even already carved up as jack-o-lanterns.

The Pumpkin Festival will begin on Friday, with lots of Halloween candy around Pandanda land for you to collect and trade for cool Pumpkin Festival prizes. To help us get into the spirit for the festival, let's celebrate tomorrow with the 2nd Annual ORANGE PANDA DAY!

I want to see everyone dressed in ORANGE tomorrow! There is orange Panda Paint in the clothing catalog at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street that everyone can buy. It's just 50 coins! So make your Panda orange, then pile on anything else you have in your closet that is orange. Make the pumpkins jealous of your glowing ORANGE color!

I will be making some surprise visits to Pandanda tomorrow to see all of the ORANGE. You can also send me pictures of you and your friends having fun on ORANGE DAY. If you take a bunch of pictures, choose just one, or make a collage of photos into one image, then send it to me at screenshots@pandanda.com, with ORANGE DAY in the subject line. Make sure to include your panda name in your email. I'll post some here on my blog, and put them all into a Facebook album.
